Mission
The Tasmanian Catholic Justice and Peace Commission aims to bring about a just society and to promote peace in Tasmania in keeping with Catholic Social Teaching.
The Commission was formed in 1992 and is responsible to the Archbishop of Hobart. There are a maximum of 11 Commissioners appointed by the Archbishop. The Commission meets formally five times a year.
